Puig-Reig is a municipality of the region of Berguedá, in the North of the province of Barcelona, in Catalonia, located next to the river Llobregat.
Communications: the municipality is crossed by the road C-16, from Barcelona to berga (Eix del Llobregat).
Economy, Industry and services: the textile industry organized in communities was the economic base of the municipality. Nowadays you can visit Colonia cal Vidal (museum).
History: the population is documented for first time in the recognition of the church of Sant Maartí, in 907.

Municipality of the region of Berguedá, famous by its mycology. The castle was donated in 1187 to the Templars of the troubadour Guillem Berguedá, military order to which the word belonged to extinction, then going to the Hospital. The churches of San Martín and San Andrés of Cal Pallot are Romanesque, both with Romanesque pictures and the last one with medieval tombs. The Gothic bridge is also interesting above the river Llobregat, of four arches. The industrial Cologne Cal and Cal Riera Vidal are interesting places.
